Berklee College of Music is the world's largest independent college of contemporary music, located in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood at the intersection of Boylston Street and Massachusetts Avenue. Founded in 1945, Berklee offers programs across every aspect of contemporary music and music business, and its alumni have won more Grammy Awards than those of any other college. The campus spans over 25 buildings in the historic Fenway-Kenmore and Back Bay neighborhoods, including a custom-built 16-story residence and performance tower.
