Fawcett Hall is one of the three South Quad tower buildings and one of the older purpose-built high-rises on CMC's campus, constructed in 1967 and renovated in 1994 and 2008. It houses up to 76 residents in air-conditioned single and double rooms across eight floors, each organized by gender with shared corridor bathrooms and showers. A large main-floor lounge is a social hub, and a smaller study lounge offers a quieter alternative for focused work. Fawcett is known for the views it affords from its upper floors — particularly toward Parents Field and the mountains — and for the floor-level communities that naturally form around its corridor layout.
