Third World House is housed in Price House, a program house established in 1973 on the principles of Third World internationalism and multiracial solidarity. Named for Laura Shurtleff Price (Class of 1893), the house historically served as a safe residential space for students of color, first-generation college students, low-income students, and LGBTQ+ students, and was a frequent site of small concerts, lectures, panel discussions, and community organizing. The house has evolved over time and in its current form continues to welcome students interested in social justice and cross-cultural community.
