Governor's Corner is an upperclass Stanford residential complex, a set of buildings including the Sterling Quad area offering suite-style rooms with semi-private bathrooms. Named for Leland Stanford (the Governor of California who founded the university). Governor's Corner is popular with upperclassmen and houses a mix of single and double rooms in a suite format, with natural ventilation consistent with Stanford's mild climate.
